fMRI data was acquired using echo planar imaging (EPI) in an 8-channel head coil on the 3.0 Tesla MRI scanner. BOLD activation can be seen in the motor cortex resulting from a bi-lateral motor task paradigm. This information is interpreted by Radiology staff providing additional guidance to Neurosurgery with regards to localization of activation with respect to epileptic seizure or tumor sites.
